The most playable edition of Hunting Billionaires For Sport so far

What a year! I have so many feelings about this update, and especially about getting to finally work on OTHER PROJECTS. But that's not to say I don't feel an immense pride at getting this game finally to a state where it's so much clearer in rules, easier to pick up without instructions or explanation, more mechanically balanced, and not missing the pieces I had 80% finished when I launched the Early Bird Edition.

I definitely feel like I should be doing this to much more fanfare and marketing than I am, but currently my twitter use is dying just as fast as twitter itself.

Anyway, to everyone who already owns this, thank you so much for having faith in me. It's been a long time coming, but now that it's here please jump on over to the game page and download the new edition to get a VASTLY superior game. That's all I can offer for your patience, so I hope you feel it was worth the wait in the end. And if you want to continue supporting me in the future, the good news is that I am already a large percentage of the way through several amazing projects, and there's more that I haven't even started yet.

I don't mean to sound like an ad, but since I haven't been able to think about these for a while, here's a sneak peak of some of the stuff that's coming up:

Ashfall - had an update going for a while, but it needs some work. This game is still not what it should be, but this feels like the update that will get it there, so it might become the first official release. (I don't think people can see the ashcan I uploaded because it's probably set to private, but so far the playtests have been delightful even with the severely lacking rulesets of previous versions)

Arena - arena shooter board game(?) with a sleek set of mechanics that allow for fun team strategies. Kinda like if you wanted to play SAO's Gun Gale Online as a ttrpg one-shot. A bit hard to describe, but I'm excited about it.

Die! Kastor! - solo-journaling meets rougelike meets yahtzee. You are a wandering rune-caster who gets more powerful by solving problems. A bit of cute gamification of chores and exercise combined with the satisfaction of building a character and becoming more powerful.

There's Only Space For One! - party game about being stuck on a spaceship with only one escape pod. Make characters and tell stories to each other about why your character shouldn't be the one to survive.

Robots In Pieces - use a standard playing card deck to build a mech out of scrap and fight your friends with it. Deeply complex and mechanically juicy, with lots of different ways you can choose to build your mech.

Our Father's Land - existential horror one-shot about being a bunch of kinda fucked up guys who grew up in a house full of toxic masculinity then going to fight a monster (who probably isn't a metaphor and maybe isn't your father) and absolutely dying horribly. The last arc has rather fun blackjack-based mechanics.

Mork Burger - a Mork Borg adventure based on Big Top Burger. Lots of silly humour. If you don't know about Big Top Burger I recommend watching it right now.

Cornerstone - build your dream bar and try not to let it all turn to shit on opening night. A weird mix of a vivid dream I had one night and movies like Coyote Ugly and Empire Records.

The Prince, The Kiss, And The Spider - cosmic horror Descended from the Queen game where you tell the story of a freakish monster that has disguised itself as a slumbering princess in order to eat a prince.

FEEL FREE to let me know if you're interested in any of these games, because aside from the ones that are mostly completed, I don't usually get a chance to talk to people about them.

ANYWAY, I have written enough. Enjoy your update, illustrious fine-minds.
